new clients booked in the first 7 weeks since launch
~5x
increase in weekly website inquiries compared to the old site
~3.5x
more daily search impressions compared to the old site
~60%
more daily organic clicks compared to the old site
Worth knowing: this is a rebuild, not a new domain, so it kept its existing search history. It also added dozens of pages the old site never had, and those take time to climb the rankings. These numbers are the first seven weeks, not the ceiling.
The challenge
abundancefamilytherapy.com already had a website, but it was thin: 3 to 4 generic service pages on WordPress/Elementor, nothing dedicated to the practice's individual offices, and none of the location-and-service combination pages needed to actually rank for searches like "family therapy in Layton" or "couples counseling in St. George." The site was also slow and hard for the team to keep current across all 7 offices.
The approach
I rebuilt the site as a fast static site and restructured it around how people actually search for a therapist near them. I built:
- Dedicated pages for all 7 offices across Utah and Washington
- Expanded therapist bios with the kind of specific, human detail people search for by name
- Location-and-service combination pages connecting each office to the services offered there
- Each office's Google Business Profile mapped directly to its matching location page on the new site
The site went live on June 1, 2026.
The results
Search visibility
This isn't a from-zero story like a brand new domain would be. What changed is scope: the rebuild added dozens of pages the old site never had, so it's now showing up for far more searches, roughly 3.5x more daily impressions and about 60% more daily clicks than the old site averaged.
Average position hasn't moved much yet, because most of that new visibility is coming from brand-new pages still climbing the rankings, not from pages that were already ranking. Rebecca's own bio page is already the second-most-visited page on the site (86 clicks, a 16% click-through rate, ranking position 4.5), and mobile searchers find the practice at position 8 on average, more than twice as well as desktop's position 18.
Client inquiries
Counting every real inquiry through the site (new clients and returning clients both, since a former client coming back is still a new opportunity), the old site generated roughly 38 inquiries over the 5 months before the rebuild. The new site generated about 69 in its first 7 weeks alone, nearly a 5x increase in weekly volume.
Real clients, real growth
35 of those inquiries have already become new clients since the site went live.
What's next
Two of the seven offices are already ranking in the top 3 of the map pack for their local searches. The next opportunity is building the same review volume and local prominence for the other five, so each office climbs into the top 3 for its own city, alongside letting the newer location and combination pages continue to mature.
