Worth knowing: SEO and local search typically take three to six months to fully kick in, longer for a site with zero prior search history like this one. These numbers are Pine River's first three months, not the ceiling.

The challenge

Before I rebuilt it, pineriverco.com was a single page. It said "more coming soon." No service pages, no way to request a quote, no tracking of any kind. Pine River had no organic search presence to speak of, and Google Business Profile activity was flat: 4 to 5 interactions a month, no calls, no website clicks. Every job came from word of mouth.

The approach

This wasn't a redesign of an existing site. It was a real business coming online for the first time. I built:

  • Dedicated pages for every service Pine River offers: custom stairs, hardwood installation, LVP flooring, custom millwork, and floor repair
  • An on-site local SEO structure built around how people actually search for a flooring contractor in Utah
  • A full Google Business Profile optimization, with every GBP service mapped directly to its matching page on the new site

The site went live on April 27, 2026.

The results

Search visibility

In under three months, pineriverco.com went from no organic presence to 82 organic clicks and roughly 10,000 impressions. Average search position improved from the low 40s at launch to the high 20s three months later. The homepage now ranks around position 10 across 1,600+ impressions, and brand searches for "pine river construction" convert at position #1.

Google Business Profile

Business Profile interactions went from a flat 4 to 5 a month before launch to a peak of 16 a month after. Over the six-month window Google tracks, the profile generated 35 website clicks and 5 phone calls, the large majority of that activity concentrated in the months following launch.

Real leads, real revenue

The site's contact form generated 11 qualified leads in under three months, spanning every service Pine River offers. Three to four of those turned into in-person sales meetings. One has already closed: a $16,000 job, booked within 90 days of launch.

What's next

Pine River is already ranking in the top 3 of the map pack for Alpine and Highland searches. The next phase of growth is pushing that same top-3 position out into Lehi, American Fork, and Pleasant Grove. Getting there means building the same reviews, local content, and profile activity that won Alpine and Highland, proximity and real-world prominence are what actually move map pack rank, not a service-area setting.
